FCC Players

Family Promise: Is a shelter program serving single women and families in Branch County. They work with 11 host churches and more than 14 partner churches to provide a meal and overnight housing to the homeless.  Our church is a host church. We host the homeless for a week (sometimes two) every few months. During this time, we provide food, shelter and fellowship. Our coordinators are Deanne Rathburn, Mary Rosenberry and Diane Haley. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact Tammy and she will forward your information to one of the coordinators.

Each year, the Community Christmas Basket Project collects items and monetary donations to provide the needy in our community food for the holidays. We ask for volunteers during the 2nd week in Dec, on Friday at 6pm and Saturday beginning at 9am, to help pack and deliver the baskets. If you would like to be added to the list of those receiving a basket, please contact us, and we will put your name on the list, must be in the Union City, MI school district. In 2015 we served over 250 baskets to needy families. For more information about this ministry, please send an email to

Our FCC Players put on a dinner theater once a year for our community. This group is sponsored by our Christian Ed board and all participants are volunteers from our congregation and community. Proceeds from the dinner theater are usually donated back to the church to help fund special projects.
